A short drive away is the 21,600 hectare Kinglake National Park on the slopes of the Great Dividing Range, look-outs offer dramatic views of the Melbourne skyline, Port Phillip Bay, the Yarra Valley and across the You Yangs. In any of the National Parks you visit, you may see black wallaby, the superb lyrebird, rosellas and kookaburras, in the waterways live native water-rats and platypus. |
